 Specific Uses

Production of Tungsten Oxides (The Main Pathway)

APT is thermally decomposed (calcined) under controlled conditions to produce tungsten oxides, primarily Tungsten Trioxide (WO₃) and Blue Oxide (Tungsten Blue Oxide, TBO).
Production of Tungsten Metal Powder The tungsten oxides (from APT) are reduced in a hydrogen atmosphere furnace.
Production of Tungsten Chemicals

APT can be dissolved and processed to create a variety of other tungsten compounds.
Direct or Near-Direct Specialty Applications

APT itself or its simple derivatives can serve as catalysts or catalyst precursors in certain petroleum refining and chemical synthesis processes (e.g., hydrodesulfurization).
